holey moley mama that's a heckuva zucchini ya got there - sounds like zucchini bread heaven to me - oh btw please send precious kitty to my house to chew on our weeds. LOL
Bing looks absolutely ecstatic! And that zucchini -- I bet you could get a dozen loaves of bread from that one! I have to say your garden is looking much better than mine! (And I love your triumphant photo displaying the veggies!)
Burgess Meredith comes to mind for some reason seeing that zucchini. My broccoli peaked about a month ago which I find weird since the tomatoes are still green with a long way to go before they even think about turning red.
Our zucchini looks like that! They went crazy like they were on steroids or something and the cukes are weird shaped but dang tasty. Only sad part of our garden is for some strange reason the bell peppers never did much of anything. Plants are tall and healthy looking but practically no actual peppers appearing. No clue why.
Gee - I'm a middle aged woman who works full-time, the mom of a wonderful daughter and son, the wife of an amazing guy who has stood by me for almost 25 years, the owner of 3 wonderful cats and a loving 14 year old dog who's getting a bit senile. I love my family dearly. And I love my home (probably too much; I'd much rather be here than go away). I love humor and good friends who are trustworthy. I like to cook and I just started to garden last year. This year was the first year for a veggie garden - I'm getting better at flowers.

I think we need to hear about your recipe for zucchini bread. Looks like a bountiful harvest ahead!

Bing looks so lovely, such a lovely colour. I would like to have a cat like him, perhaps one day.
